Wellbasket.somc July 6 issued an alert urging customers to discard any basket containing Veggie Booty due to possible contamination of Salmonella.
Early on June 28, Robert's American Gourmet, the manufacturer of Veggie Booty, issued a recall for the food, which has been linked with some cases of Salmonella.
Customers who have already consumed the product and are experiencing symptoms of Salmonella infection such as diarrhea, vomiting and o fever last longer than three days should see their doctor.
Veggie Booty snack is used as a component in many gift baskets created by wellbaskets.com. Infected with Salmonella or not, gift recipients who have any question about the baskets containing Veggie Booty may contact Robert's American Gourmet by phone at 18006267557 for refund or replacement.
So far Salmonella has not been found in any bag of veggie booty, according to a new release by wellbaskets.com. But as a precautionary measure, wellbaskets.com has removed the products from its shelves
